Street Law Centre WA (Perth- Tranby)

A free legal service for people who are homeless or may become homeless. Legal assistance may include letter writing, negotiation and minor court work services in the following legal areas:

• Fines and infringements
• Minor criminal law
• Identity documents including immigration and overseas birth certificates
• Criminal injuries compensation
• Police complaints
• Restraining orders
• Debts
• Early release of superannuation
• Discrimination

Eligibility & Access

• For people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. It must also be deemed that legal intervention will prevent the person from becoming homeless
