Derbarl Yerrigan is a community-oriented health service which provides the following:

• GP services, eye and ear health, and physiotherapy on referral.
• Maternal and child health
• Chronic disease programs for the management of conditions such as diabetes
• Health promotion

They can also provide patient transport for eligible clients, however, this must be arranged prior to the appointment.

• For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Specific services may have unique eligibility criteria.

Achievements

• In January 2021, they performed 426 health checks, the highest number in years.
• They saw a 21% increase in participation for child health checks through this program.
• Their 2019-2024 Strategic Plan outlines a 100-year vision to be a leading Aboriginal community-controlled health organisation in Australia.
