Training to provide people with the skills to respond appropriately to mental health crises in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. A 14 hour accredited course in Aboriginal Mental Health First Aid Training to help people understand how to deal with a mental health crisis. The training course can be delivered to our community and to service providers who deal with the Aboriginal community on an ongoing basis, ultimately improving health outcomes.

Eligibility & Access
- General Eligibility:
- MHFA courses are suitable for any adult committed to improving the mental health of their friends, family, and community.
- Workplace Training:
- Many workplaces offer MHFA courses to their employees.
- Check with your Human Resources or Wellbeing Officer to see if a course is available in your workplace.
- Instructor Training:
- Intensive training courses are available for adults interested in becoming MHFA instructors.
- These courses are designed for people with relevant skills and experience who wish to become licensed MHFA instructors.
