Aboriginal Mediation Service

A service which helps resolve problems before they become violent or go to court.
This is a free service that aims to assist and work alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, groups, and communities in a culturally safe manner. It resolves conflicts before they escalate to court action.
This service can assist with conflicts such as family, burial, community, neighbours, disputes between co-workers, and issues involving agencies and government services.

Eligibility & Access

• At least one of the participants in the conflict must be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent.
• There must also be a willingness from all parties to participate.
