It aims to close the gap of Indigenous disadvantage in areas such as health, housing, education and employment.

Achievements
- Efforts are ongoing to close the life expectancy gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians by 2031.
- Child Mortality: There has been progress in halving the gap in mortality rates for Indigenous children under five within a decade.
- Education: Programs have been implemented to ensure access to early childhood education for all Indigenous four-year-olds in remote communities.
- Employment: Initiatives aim to halve the gap in employment outcomes between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.
